Kovalev wants it. Beterbiev wants it. Will Gaymon block this fight from happening? I see Gaymon sacrificing Adonis before Beterbiev, who has a better shot of beating Kovalev.

Wouldnt he be better feeding the P.O.S. to the Steamroller?

No way in hell would he want Sergey KRUSHER Kovalev with all the trinkets

This is Gaymon we're talking about here.... Certainly wouldn't be a shocker.

Haymon is going to do what he had planned and won't let anyone change that, at least that's what I think. I think it's too early for Beterbiev to face Kovalev but I could be wrong. It's a potentially risky fight for both guys so there should be a little build up to it. I got Kovalev beating both of them right now, but I think Beterbiev could beat him with time.

If anyone is likely to keep this fight from happening, it's Main Events. After all, they twice walked away from a purse bid for a fight they pretended to want.

Why wouldnt he do Stevenson vs Beterbiev first? Both are his fighters. The winner vs Kovalev would be even bigger.

If anything it looks like they are trying to use Beterbiev to save Adonis.
Artur needs more experience before fighting Sergey imo.

I'd be more worried about Duva getting in the way.

She has a lot more to lose here than Haymon.

Uf Beterbiev wins, he brings all those belts back to PBC for a huge unification in Montreal with Stevenson

If Beterbiev loses, he can still bounce back.

This doesn't make sense. Beterbiev's a part of the wave of noisemaking KO-machines from Eastern Europe. Artur is FAR, FAR, FAR more marketable than some Ethiopian-Canadian former pimp.

They don't seem to have any problems letting Artur fight on HBO as long as their is a good offer, not the case with Adonis. I get it, they're trying to fight where they offer more money.
If they don't want to feed Adonis to Sergey surely they wouldn't have a problem feeding them to their own fighter in Artur. Adonis doesn't offer them anything but they are trying to protect him.
I know there is people that would like nothing more than to see two European fighters beating each other up.
That fight, Kovalev-Beterbiev, could be career changing.

According to Beterbiev's promoter. The only way it doesn't get done is if Duva/HBO want options on Beterbiev's future fights.

In other related news Michel has said they're perfectly willing to have Adonis fight Kovalev 50/50 split as Long as its allowed to go to purse bids
