    I had the Alvarez match a draw, but Alvarez wouldn't last 3 rounds with Kovalev either.

    Not a bad fight. Kovalev by KO, unless he decides to go the full 12 rounds in preparation for Ward.

    For a stay busy type of fight Chilemba is a good opponent.

    He's a solid veteran who is rated in the top 10 by Ring, ESPN, TNB, etc.

    He's most likely not going to beat Kovalev but with the Ward bout waiting for him he's a lot better opponent than expected.

    I really hope Ward gets an opponent for the summer as well, he looked a little rusty in his last fight and some more rounds before Kovaelv would be a smart move.

    Do a split site card and have Ward and Kovalev on the same show would be a good business move.

    Chilemba is not an ideal opponent but there are certainly a lot worse fights for him out there.... And understandable considering the circumstances in the division. Hopefully Ward fight will take place before the end of the year.

    Mismatch, this is one of the mismatches that can literally have 1 ending. Vast majority of fights are like this. Elites can't lose to fighters so many levels below. If chilemba had ggg type power he could be taken seriously.

    Eledier alvarez get's criticized for facing Chilemba but when Kovalev does it it's a solid choice.

    They just talked about it on HBO. This is not Ward who makes people wait or pretends like he has no fight date.
