I'm giving credit to Hopkins for not being knocked out rather than not giving Kovalev credit for not scoring the KO in his twelve round shut out :good
I'm delighted bordering on giddy with how he won, the master got schooled by the "one dimensional plodder":rofl This content is protected
This is a prime example of what I've been posting. Years from now, people like this will say Kovalev beat an "Old man" but I would ask them, who else could have scored a 12 round to zero shut out over B-Hop on this night? Answer is probably no one.
Bhop resembles a 35 year old man haha. I dont particually like the guy but youve got to respect his defensive skills and how he slipped many potential KO punches. You guys need to stop analysing this so much and just enjoy the Kov-trains career.
Yeah, some people look like **** at 19 and some at 90. Some people are in better shape than others. Way too much about the age and this and that. Kovalev just won a boxing match fair and square.
This is much worse than a knockout. It was a beat down that wasn't based so much on power, but on boxing and fighting skill and savvy. Hopkins was destroyed on a boxing level. His incredible alien boxing skills and IQ and special longevity were shown for what they really are: weak ass sauce. His age saved him cause if he would have been more confident or more disrespectful say if they fought years ago he would have been knocked out or worse. Maybe killed. He's lucky they fought now and not earlier. He may not have had much of a career.
In a 15 rounder like back in the day, he would have stopped him. Hopkins probably wouldn't have come out for the 13th round, and if he did, he wouldn't make it out of the round.
