Kovalev doesnt like it to the body...

    ...seemingly. Yarde was having good success with hi body work; it really seemed to faze Kovalev. Canelo is a fine body puncher. Will this be where the fight is won and lost?

    Yeah Canelos a great body puncher. Hes also quiet good at taking steroids. Should give him some advantage for the 15 pound jump in weight

    Are there any boxers that do like it to the body? I think a bit TOO much is made out of Kov's susceptibility to body shots

    I dont think too much is being made of it. Both Yarde and Ward completely changed the tone of the fight against Kovalev from body shots, and they were fights that Kovalev had been winning up to those points...

    Outside of those two, I cant remember that many Kovalev opponents who ever even tried to test the body.

    Now the secret is out, and everyone will gun straight for his mid section.

    Just like King Hippo in MTs Punc Out

    No fighter likes getting hit to the body but the greats disguise the hurt when they get hit there with a great punch, Kovalev just doesn't disguise that hurt well and that's certainly something Canelo can take advantage of.

    Really think about it, on the inside and to the body Canelo was able to make Golovkin timid about unleaching on Canelo with power.
