    Kovalev has been dropped by Boone, Caparello, Ward and Alvarez.... All relatively light hitting and 2 of them were former SMWs.

    Beterbiev retires him.

    Kovalev is a bit of a glass cannon
    I mean Ward cracked his chin as did Alvarez
    Beterbiev can get him out of there for sure
    Kovalev I believe would be favored

    Bad style match up for Kova at this age IMO Beterbiev generates huge power at close range, if Kova keeps it at range then sure he can beat him but AB is brilliant at cutting the ring off..

    Great fight still... Poll is close too, which reflects this.

    The Caperello KD was due to Kovalev's feet being squared up and Caperello stepping on his toe and Ward didn't drop Kovalev. The KD against Boone is apparently legit but I haven't seen the fight and I don't know anyone who has. The KDs and stoppage against Alvarez are obviously legit though.

    Beterbiev was dropped by Callum Johnson who is a legit banger with very heavy hands and hits much harder than Alvarez and so too does Beterbiev who a lot of people seem to be forgetting can punch holes in castle walls and along with Kovalev is one of the, like easily top 10 P4P hardest, most destructive punchers in the entire sport and nobody's chin is immune to that kind of power if they get caught right or with the right sequence of shots and to be perfectly frank you don't even have to get caught right to get taken out when someone's hands are as ridiculously heavy as that.

    Kovalev KO. Kovs skill level is way above Beterbievs, and he hits just as hard. Beterbiev can’t box with him at range, and will struggle to get past the jab and get inside.

    Not a fact at all. First of all you've got to capitalize all the letters of fact to make it a FACT and secondly it's only a FACT when Serge says it is.

    Maybe 4-5 years ago. Kovalev used to have a good chin and much better stamina. His durability/chin and stamina have deteriorated shockingly fast, probably due to his awful habits away from boxing and even during training camp. Hes clearly way more skilles but at thos stage I think it's a toss up anytime Kovalev fights an elite or world class opponent. Like @GK BOX said, hes turned into an absolute glass cannon. 50/50 IMO. 5 years ago Kovalev works Beterbiev.
