Unlike others I saw Ward play basketball with Krushers sac that night but my point is foul back and do it wisely on the blind side of the ref!!! A guy will continue to foul you if you and the ref do NOTHING
Ward knows he was out of line but at the end of the night he got the win.

    You have two choices
Foul back or over state your case and Krusher is too much of a man to pull acting lessons out his aze like Floyd or worse, AB

    Ward dominated him.

His supremacy between the two is clear.

Kovalev's a ****ing idiot. The 'L' should be updated to 'Loss by Quitting'.

I believe without doubt that he won the first fight. The second fight, Ward proved to be the better boxer. Nut shot or not, Kovalev was on is way to getting stopped regardless. I could be wrong but he looked completely drained after that huge shot to the Chin that gave him rubber legs.

    Here's how I saw it.

Ward purposely targeted as low as he could legally go on the belt line, that's the refs discretion and Weeks let maidana get away with much worse. Replays show, barring the final punch, they were all belt line. Most refs would halt the action but Weeks doesn't and history proves this.

The only nut shot was the final punch, Kovalev was already bent over and Ward had no visual except Kovalev's back. He shouldn't have thrown those punches repeatedly and the stoppage was bad. But weeks didn't appear to be on ward's payroll or biased. This is the type of **** Weeks allows.

Why didn't Ward throw some crispy hooks or uppercuts to Kovalev's head? Kovalev was keeled over.

Exactly. The only time Ward hit low was when Kovalev was bent over obscuring Wards vision.

Earlier in the round, before the headshot, Kovalev turned his back on Ward after being hit with numerous legal bodyshots, his body language said it all, he wanted out.

And this gets over shadowed by the stoppage. Kovalev lacks heart. As soon as he starts getting beat, he starts to quit.

Sad. "Krusher" Kovalev should change his name to "Krying" Kovalev.

A beltline shot I believe. There's already pages and pages debating this. You know Kovalev was hurt beforehand.

The only reason those are saying it was a nut shot is because it was the only shot that was clearly below the belt-line. There's an area between the belt-line and the nuts, which is where it landed. It has to be really low for it to be a nut shot, and usually that requires a fighter to intentionally hit a fighter extremely low. Calling that last punch from Ward a nutshot is a huge exaggeration. It simply did not hit Kovalev in his nuts. Kovalev was also bending over in agony from shots that hurt him that were clearly on the belt-line. Saying that Kovalev was stopped by a nut shot is a major exaggeration and utterly ridiculous. Was Ward's last punch low? Yes. It was intentionally low? No. Did it hit Kovalev in the nuts? No. Anyone who says Ward hit him in the nuts is delusional.

If he wasn't already gassed by the 5th round this would not have happened. He was on his way to losing no matter what. Even if a point was deducted. Not a Ward fan either. He needs to move on.
