Kovalev Files Protest With NSAC To Change Ward Loss To An NC...!!!

The NSAC obviously isn't going to change anything but he has a case. The fight was ended on a blatant low blow. Worse, Weeks had a perfect view of the illegal punch but still waved it off as a legit tko. That isn't mere incompetence, it's corruption. Ward should have had a point deducted and Kovalev allowed 5 mins to recover.

one small point you all seem to forget. any punch that hands below the belt line universally navel level is a FOUL!! RIGHT ???

 

no actually they often OFTEN say "you're trunks are a little high" or "you're trunks are good" kovalevs trunks were a little high not very within the norm. the blow just before kovalev ate a solid right was not low. in the final attack at least one of those punches was low but no more than 2. still for arguments sake let's say within a 4 punch combo two were low. the fight for sure shouldnt have been stopped. Kovalev ate a big punch I know a lot of people are syaing it was an arm punch kovalev never felt it kovalev was hurt badly. and rightfully down just barely on the cards.

i dont think there is any debate that the last punch was low or not. that one looks like it was almost on the dick. I see people saying 10 low blows 5 low blows etc. every second before that kovalev was being beat then it went to the corner broke em up, and ward hit I think 3 punched in a row first punch legal, second punch i couldnt tell, probably fair enough to say low, third punch was all the way low, but it was thrown while kovalev was bending over. still low.

 

Sometimes Ward fanboys need to be banned for the better of the forum.
