    Don King isn't the point.

Adonis Stevenson got $750,000 GUARANTEED to fight Tommy Karpency on SPIKE, and Stevenson was set to make up to $2 million depending on PPV sales in Canada.

And Kovalev got $125,000 to fight a unification with Hopkins on HBO?

    DUVA IS A THIEF

Kovalev should bolt to Haymon. Immediately.

I don't know if Duva is really any more of a thief than anyone else in the business. But I do think she is grossly lacking in competence, if nothing else.

Kovalev certainly deserves far better than what she has mustered for him thus far.

Thing with kovalev is he had to do things the hard way . he had no promoter and his manager paid his training and expenses for his first 18 fights . its not easy for these Russians to make it in the pro ecusse they can have all the talent in the world but no professional opportunituies.kovalev owes a great debt to his manager for taken such a big risk with him and his now starting to be paid accordingly after paying his dues

Its just the mentality of the majority of eastern European fighters they acknowledge that professional boxing world isn't going to throw money at them from the word go so they have to work their way up and they are hungry

Its a stark contrast from a lot of western fighters who seem to think that money should be thrown at them for any little achievement and want more money even when their well paid eg ward, andrade,Garcia

I think most eastern European fighters should look to turn pro with k2 and that Russian big money outfit.

Top rank are letting so many top amateurs rot while focusing on guys that can will just be money earners

K2 put money into GGG and usyk and are building the Russians have bivol and out a lot of money into povetkin. Compare that to how top rank are stalling gvodsyk and mekhontsevs careers
