Sergey was still an amateur and doesn't have the proper nutrition and conditioning just like Pac when he was young he ran into a punch (like the JMM KO but of course it was the super-roided Marquez who could've KO'ed Kimbo Slice with that punch) he doesn't have the punch resistance. Don't get your panties wet yet. It'll take a whole while for Sergey to sleep on the mat.

Roided Marquez? Here we go. It was a powerful punch but add to the fact that Pacquiao was walking into it also, THAT is why it looked more powerful than it was. Defense, he should learn it. By the way, bigger muscles won't make you hit harder.

    lets just break this down.

Please tell me, what do you suppose throws the punch, in other words what generates the power?

is it the fatrolls you carry around your waist?
is it the backbacon hanging off your shoulders?
is it the stretchmarks on your ass?

    NO.

    Muscles throw the punch.
Muscles in your shoulders, arms, core and legs are all involved in generating the punching power required to put someones lights out.

    NOW.

For a given weight, reducing body fat % and increasing muscle mass proportionally, keeping flexibility and weight distribution constant (ie. training smart).
Forgetting stamina issues that may come in to play later on in the fight.
Please tell me why punching power under no circumstances will be increased.

Yes becUse you are a casual fan

I see you have finally looked atoev up and he is a middleweight and light heavyweight world amatuer champion

I doubt you looked far enough to check his ko's or his power , he is a very big puncher and anyone can get knocked out if hit right

David Tia got sparked out in the amateurs and does he have a weak chin?

Actually I did look it up, you can educate yourself too if you want, casual ape

As for Tua situation I believe that was quite different.
It was at heavyweight, heavyweights carry more power.
    Headbutt was involved.
Tua went from 205 pounds to 240+ , Kovalev is still at the same weight.

But clearly there can be outliers but use what little gray matter you were given and actually read what I said which was that no where did I once say that this proves Kovalev has a weak chin, I only said that

    1) stevenson can certainly knock him out
    2) he doesn't have an iron chin

These are all high level competitions and as you can see he still stopped too class amateurs like eamon o Kane

He averaged one or more stoppages per tournament at a high level this is the mark of a big puncher, comeback to me when you've seen him fight in person

No learn more about amatuer boxing and stop reading off information like a casual fan

Tua got stopped by savon a guy barely over 200 pounds himself same difference

    Kovalevs chin is solid

    Ok here is the numbers.

If you take the data from that page, throw out the minor events held in russia with no detailed information, add in the 2012 olympics, this is what you get.

    Total tournaments: 25
    Total Fights: 68
    Total Stoppages: 9
    KO/TKO/RSC %: 13%

Average number of stoppages per tournament: 0.36

Not to be pedantic, but how the fuc.k do you go from 0.36 to 1-2 per tournament, it's 4x less than your exaggerated number.

The point I was making was that TUA's changed immensely from amateur to pro. He went from 205 to 240+, a skinny 205 version of Tua might indeed have been chinny, who knows? That isn't the TUA we know though so it's an entirely moot point.

how about you stfu and go f.uck yourself, liar

Most of the tournaments your quoting only last one or two Ffs

You no **** all about amatuer boxing and if we knew his total record there would be a huge amount of knock outs as he faught at lower level events

Only person outside of heavyweight in the last ten years with a better knock out rate than him is beterbeiv and is probebly about the same as khytrov

You should start follong amatuer boxing instead of quoting information you don't understand mate, makes you look thick

Everyone knows the Uzbek has a serious punch on him
