He is unified atm, he needs that WBO strap to become undisputed....it ain't rocket science.

I don't really bash GGG some guys are just racists for sure and hate him regardless of what he accomplishes. I see him for what he is a dominate MW champ with no real top names on his resume through the fault of others and himself.

With that being said GGG seemed willing to move up as a one off for the Froch or Chavez fight so that's where I stop listening to this he wants to only unify crap. He's after money, he would of moved down for that Mayweather fight too. But I know your a very neutral guy who sees both sides.

Does he need all the belt when he wanted to fight Mayweather or Froch? Come on you know he would move around abit for the big bucks if the fights are there.

Well said. I've also noticed that you give a fair assessment of the situation.

Exactly! This has ways been the knock on GGG... If he would follow through with what he says he'd have alot more respect especially from his detractors. He's got 3 out of 4 belts in a weak division but he's more hype than substance right now.

At the end of the day Kovalev is a greater more proven fighter than GGG, and that's that!

Of course but that's nothing to do with my post. Someone said Golovkin is undisputed MW champion...he clearly is not as he does not hold all of the 4 main belts. He has 3 of them, needing BJS's WBO strap to become undisputed.

The way I understand it is, those 3 belts are no longer the only 3 you need they were years ago but now the Wbo is recognised as a major belt so you need all 4 to become undisputed now. **** that lineal crap it's allover the place anyway.

He will chase this Canelo fight forever, he's after easy money that's what I realised when he wanted Froch at 168 but not Ward.

Its Rocket science for you apparently.. He needs the lineal Ring recognition to be undisputed officially. The WBO is not required.

The Ring magazine is the definition of a paper belt. You cannot be this dim.

There are four major sanctioning organizations: WBA, WBO, IBF, and WBC. If you are the simultaneous beltholder for WBA/WBO/IBF/WBC, you're declared the "undisputed champion." The WBO, which along with the IBF was formed in the 1980s, wasn't part of this grouping until 2007, but the premise of having all the major belts has stayed the same. Minor belts such as NABF, IBO, IBC, etc. aren't meaningful at the highest levels of the sport.

Nah , in that case there may never be another Undisputed champion ever again.
