Ha3x I like it. The thing with these Russian fighters are, is that they are genuine and most time humorous. I'm pretty sure it was said with tongue in cheek. If you think ward had gotten into his head, you're probably reading too much into it. Kovalev doesn't have to act. He is a real G.

Ward won at least 6 rounds but there was a knockdown so you could easily score it Kovalev.
my only issue is people that give Kovalev rounds 3,5 and 9 which I'd rather you score it 9 rounds to 3 but you HAVE to give ward those 3 he clearly won. clear as day

 

added to that only americas on that list scored it to ward and the whole sky sports studio that night were ward fan boys

 

yeah Uk press had it 115-112 for ward and they even mentioned Harold score card saying he is so close to the action but he is missing a good fight. Harold is a bad scorer I think he is teaching americans how to mis-score fights

 

Not a bad score. I gave rounds 3,5 and 12 to Ward. Ward also had a good case for 4. I don't understand how anyone can give Kov round 12. Ward even ended the round with a pair of nice body shots. Although it was an ugly round, don't understand how anyone could give Kov round 3. Ward landed the cleaner shots and killed Kovs momentum. Round 6 was very close as well but I think most Kov fans give it to Kov based off of just one hard shot where Ward covered his ear. Other than that Ward dictated the pace/ring generalship, even landed a nice left and body shots. I will have to rewatch that round again. Atleast you aren't out of control like some others. Btw, 114-113 Ward is the correct score to answer your question. It's what our great American judges scored as well. It was a fight they got right for once. Deal with it.

 

Any fight determined by less than a KO these days and there is at least someone getting on their high horse about the unfairness of the result. A close fight happens and all hell breaks loose.
