So...Little time to prepare for Kovalev as indeed for David Price with Chisora. Ruiz jr. instead was able to get trained in time for Joshua I.
Should we get used to see in the future bouts with more and more boxers fightin outta shape or nearly? A your opinion.

Retire. You don't need the money now. Don't follow the RJJ blueprint.

A professional fighter should be in shape and ready to go. What does it take to get sharp? A week? You only need 8-12 weeks to prepare if you are going to a fat farm instead of a training camp.

I did think that we’d not long ago just seen krusher vs Yarde, seemed like a quick turnaround compared to other fights

I think from here on out, if he absolutely must stick around, Duva should try to make Kovalev the new catchweight king. He says cruiserweight is too much, well he can make his own goddamn division. Make every match from now on a special attraction, forget the belts, focus on the money. Find a few decent light heavyweights to fight at a catchweight of 185, then call it a day.

No ****. It’s what everyone knew going into the fight. Plus he’s 36 and has been cracked twice already.

A fully recovered Kovalev with a decent training camp would've at least went the distance. Canelo was mostly just following him around with a high guard. He didn't land many solid shots, so Kovalev pretty much gassed out from his own activity. If you ask me, he shouldn't have taken the fight so soon.

He was knocked out by Ward and Canelo. Two tiny, light punching guys. Krusher needs to retire.

No s*** why do you think you was only given so little time after what was a real gruelling fight against Yarde who has said himself is a heavyweight on the night?
There’s nothing good to be said about this fight.Ill say this Oscar is master at knowing what boxers can do to their bodies from a physical perspective and tailoring a handicap.
That said Canelo May still of beaten Kovalev anyway as he must of seen how Yarde got through to Kovalev eventually and thought he could do the same.

Are you insane, hes 36 ?. Had a tough fight against Yarde and then jumped straight back into camp to fight Canelo. Probably had to shed a ton of weight too. At his age he needs to rest between fights and camps. Hes over the top also. Should retire now with his health entact and focus on recovery, his lifestyle outside the ring has not been good the past few years

If he fought in late August and jumped right back into training how did he have time to gain a ton of weight? Even if he took three weeks off after the Yarde fight to recover, knowing that the biggest payday of your career is being negotiated, you don't let yourself go. Especially if you're 36.

    Its an excuse.
Hes getting old and he it sounds like he doesnt live the atheletes life outside of the ring.

He fought Yarde in August, which means, assuming he had an 8 week camp, he had a few weeks off to recover from his bumps and bruises and then went into camp ALREADY in good shape.

I still don't know what to make of this fight. All the selfies, handshakes and touching gloves. It was like a Monday afternoon spar. There was no intensity in the fight.
