Feeling after sparring isnt same as feeling after fights. As for recovery time it completely depends on a given fight.

 

Truthfully, I know **** all about concussions besides the fact that if one truly is concussed, they will know it.
Bradley suffered some scary symptoms after Provodnikov turned his brain into mush.

 

lets not forget the time zone change. Russia and Vegas is about 11 hour time zone difference. you need at least 1 week to adjust to that

 

I agree with you there, if there's any excuse for Kovalev that actually has a shred of validity it's that. And BTW it wasn't so much that the fight started so late, it was how it was managed by DAZN. Like for example if DAZN knew it couldn't start until 1 am ET until UFC ended then why the hell did they wrap hands like 1-2 hours before that? Couldn't they have told the fighters they didn't need to be wrapped up until midnight ET or something that way they wouldn't have been standing there with their gloves on just waiting and waiting for over an hour walking around aimlessly and sitting on the couch for all that time. It was just poorly managed by DAZN. DAZN is no HBO, waiting for UFC to end in the first place was bad enough, but for them to mismanage it like that so the fighters were just standing their gloved up waiting for over an hour was terrible.

 

That was a tad ridiculous, the whole wait time.
