None of his previous fights took place after Russia supposedly meddled in a USA election.

    Things change. Politics change.

    Payback can be cruel.

When the full story (or rather tally of opinions) is told over the next day, I feel the MAJORITY of us American boxing fans, writers, coaches, and other boxers will still see this fight for Kovalev ultimately. Follow the money for the blame.

Exactly. All three judges coming up with the same scorecard doesn't look right and I think there should've been neutral judges, but Kovalev's team would've been able to insist on it before the fight, and he can't complain now.

    Well f-ing said Sir.

Llisten to these words, for they are the truth, whatever way you want to paint it.

There is no doubt that there would be riots, looting and blood shed on the streets if this so happened to Ward in Russia.

You don't think politics plays a role in judging decisions? I'm not just talking about elections, I'm talking about who the promoter is and so forth.

You must not know a lot about the history of the sport and the corruption in it.

Kovalev said as much after the fight, and I agree with him. Russia was demonized all through the election campaign. Judges are human beings, too, and they watch TV and can be influenced.

If this fight was held in Russia, Kovalev wins a UD by scores of like

    116-111
    117-110
    118-109

I'm not kidding. This was not a particularly close fight. It wasn't. Although to be fair Compubox had it close.

Right, let's fix the bias by putting it in another bias that agrees with you. Lol

The first step is an admission of bias.

Here's an example of corruption in boxing:

    It happens everywhere, all levels.

I'll be kind to the judges tonight and say that crowd colored their perceptions. That's the nicest explanation I can give.

I'm an objective fight scorer. I do flexible scoring to give a range of scores. At best, Ward won 5 rounds. Compubox says he won 6.

Just have to call it as I see it.

I've seen a lot of fights over a long period of time. This was one of the worst decisions I've ever seen.

I know there's corruption, the very fight before it. Hooker should've lost but they saved him. Not the case with Kovalev vs Ward. Just because Ward lacks pop doesn't mean you discredit his punches.

I'm not discrediting them. Yes, Hooker was gifted. And so was Ward.

What do Hooker and Ward have in common?

Both are repped by Roc Nation, who promoted the fight tonight.

Back in the day, people used to say that Don King had his own judges.

This isn't complicated. And I'm not even assigning blame here. The judges could simply have been affected by the crowd overreacting to what Ward did.

Look up the definition of racist you fool.

The man is within his rights to leave the country after witnessing such a disgusting decision.

    Not under his name.

Im not biased though. I gave perez the victory, and I gave Ward the victory.

Even though I gave Ward the victory, I wouldn't call it a robbery if Kovalev won.
