primal pledge, who might be Charlie Zelenoff, says that the performance was intended to lull Ward in to a false sense of security. That's the thesis. You do that by "looking bad". That's the idea. Quarrel with primal pledge (Charlie Z.) if you think it's an absurd notion.

Kovalev beat up Chilemba "I won't lose to a Russian" just like he does everybody including "I won't lose to a whiteboy" Hopkins. Ward will be no different. I think you'll see a Kovalev tuned to Ward, a fighter whom Kovalev has a lot of respect for. He'll be cautious and measured. Ward is not going to know what hit him. Just hope Ward doesn't sprain his finger nail before the match and call it off.

Charlie Z., Kovalev wasn't playing. He was huffing and puffing and laboring to get a KO.

    classy comment...

  5. I ain't no charlie, boy, so get that **** outta your head.

Ward is now convinced and super confident he's got his number after that performance. The whole boxing community and his camp are telling him, he's got this.

So yes this has worked in Kovalev's favour and I believe that was the intention from the beginning after anaylasising the fight, kovalev's body language and the way he kept backing off that son of a ***** when he had the chance to finish him, time and time again.

You've got a right to disagree, but do not say its outside the range of possibility or that it has never happened before.

kovalev appeared to back off a bit for the first half of the 8th. he might have wanted more rounds, but he definitely wanted the ko in the 12th.

Maybe he'll deliberately lose to Ward to engender your sympathy and the fellow-feeling of persons around the globe who refer to other adults as "boy".

Is that within the range of possibility?

True or false(?): You are dumb as rocks.

You are arguing with a troll, one of Boxed Ears' alts.

True or false(?): You are dumb as rocks.

  10. All I've got to say is that Virgil Hunter better come up with something to hit those kneecaps with so Ward can have a reason to pull out if he wants his heart to beat another day after November.

:lol: There is no way in hell, that Kovalev was trying to take it easy. He wanted to knock Issac out from round one on. Fact is that he has never faced a fighter that boxed him without fear. He used everything in his ****nal to try and dispatch Issac but to no avail. Ward already knew this and that's why he has never wavered in his intent to face Kovalev. It's still a 50/50 fight for me but the longer it goes, the bigger the odds are for Ward to take it. Here's another thing, If Kovalev gets as sloppy as he did against Issac in the later rounds, he might find himself getting up off the mat.

that character is not in Boxed Ear's repertoire.

You seem oddly to be coming to his defense. You may share some sympathies with him. To you, he's no parody, but a friend in need.

I came to his defense when I stated that he is a troll? Interesting. He is the guy who made a thread about Amir Khan and the Paris attacks (it got deleted) but hey feel free to argue with him if that makes you feel smarter.

  15. Don't tell lies on me boy. You get it correct, I made a thread warning people about security because of the size of the event between the fight with kahn and canelo.

And I was proved justified, because very soon after, a dangerous suspect warned that he intended to commit jihad at the arena. Thankfully security was held up tight that night and everybody went home safe.
