I've seen it.. it makes me angry how he treated JDJ. completely unprofessional.. first fight Kova won no doubt, second fight Ward won.. not sure about the low blows... Sergey even said himself, he was living the wrong lifestyle... partying, drinking... only after he had a car crash and visited a church, he said he changed his ways.. But if you watch his post fight interviews today, he's complaining and saying he was tired, how he didn't get enough time to rest after his open workout!! his legs weren't moving etc... thats why I said he wasn't in the right mindframe.. still making excuses!!
You're right I'm angry at how he treated JDJ as well, I wish he'd have beaten him senseless and then fired him.
With Ward retired, I think Kovalev is probably the one who will prove to be the best at 175 when the dust ultimately settles.
Have to wait and see. Beterbiev would be a very tough fight for him, Bivol gives him problems too. It’s a tough division, but long range pure boxing and Kov’s right at the top, his inside game is gonna let him down against Beterbiev imo, but he’s capable of beating majority you mention if he’s strict with himself and boxes. Politics as much as Ward got the better of him for the rematch. He just wanted it behind him win or lose, no real focus whatsoever
