He doesn't have to get out of 1st gear and he rolls over
world level guys. Stevenson will get put to sleep if he gets
past cloud, and hopkins old ass won't be able to keep pace.
If hops ever faces this russian he will be stopped for the 1st
time in his career. Kovalev vs Ward needs to happen in 2014.

Kovalev is a BAD matchup for Hopkins. And I never underestimate B HOP.

Hops hates high volume guys but relishes head hunters.
kovalev is no head hunter. He sets up everything off of a
hard jab and cleans up with that same jab. Sergey will
set a pace this old geek can't see, but he'll bring it with
    power too.

He's the most dangerous man ever to exist.

I doubt Ward or Hopkins will make any real effort to fight Kovalev. They may even do a complete end run around Kovalev and fight each other.

I would hate to think Hopkins is continuing on after he decisions Murat in another borefest to face Fonfara or the winner of Stevenson/Cloud. The only option I could understand for Hopkins, other than Kovalev would be a swansong bout against Ward.

I fully expect Kovalev to make his first defense (optional) in Russia early next year against nobody of consequence. Kovalev will get avoided just like Golovkin.

Kovalev was Hopkin's mando. Hopkins was on board and Kovalev chose to fight Cleverly instead.

It's true. He was Hopkins mando and then Cleverly offered him a shot. They even talked about it during the broadcast. I don't know many people faced with the choice between Cleverly and Hopkins that would choose Hopkins.

A few more wins at top level and Kovalev will be on the P4P list. He is the real thing.

Kovalev beat a hype job in Cleverly ,he's not walking through Hopkins like that.

You're wrong. There were never negotiations between hops and sergey.
Sergey figured why chase hopkins when a world title was served right up.
He never ducked hops. You sound scared for nard.

No disrespect to Hopkins but at his age he would be mad to fight Kovalev, it would be a murderous fight to take.
