Kovalev is way too reliant on the right hand

He isn't going to say ****. He doesn't have a fight lined up he is trying to call out the disabled on a boxing forum. Hell the top half of me can still fight Id take on his best prospect if I'm allowed to even the odds...

 

Well, he is not as bad as Kessler or Pavlik with the jab jab right. His right is really good, smooth and fluid. So if he relies on the right and it was not working that night then I can see the criticism.

 

I don't agree with the notion that you have to be a world class trainer with world champions in your gym to be able to criticize anything. Then you can shut down the forum, as no one would fit the requirements. It's completely illogical.

We are interested in boxing, some have more first hand practical knowledge than others, all the same you are free to give your opinions in what is an open forum. And yes even the best trainers make mistakes, even the best fighters make mistakes. Everyone and anything is fair game and open for criticism or discussion.

 

I noticed that Kovalev made an adjustment after he had Pascal hurt, he didn't use his defense and went right hand crazy, but he made an adjustment, started using his jab again, used his left hook and was very successful with his right hook as Hopkins pointed out. I was very impressed with Kovalev's ability to adjust...............Kovalev had Pascal out two times, Pascal was saved by the bell in the 3rd round and Kovalev slipped when he was beating the hell out of Pascal in the corner, but Pascal staggered to the other corner like a drunk, Kovalev then started landing really vicious punches on Pascal in the corner, so the referee stopped the fight. The referee saved Pascal from some serious damage..................could have saved Pascal's life...............Pascal would have gone down to the canvas out cold, no doubt about it.....................

 

You're a trainer...??? List your fighters you train (or trained) and your qualifications, cause I can damn guarantee my fighters and qualifications are far superior to yours...!!!

 

I expect Kov will fire his trainer as soon as he gets this post translated,
and you should be getting an important call soon.

I thought the same thing exactly DonnyMo. Kovalev had Pascal egesting in his pants three or four times with the left hook apparently OP didn't watch the fight or is completely clueless about boxing.
