I never understood why people are always interpreting so much into these staredowns, it has never been a real indication of how the fight is going to go.

To me Hopkins looked the same way he always does, definitely not intimidated or nervous.

First of all, Hopkins is not a racist. A racist is somebody who hates another race BECAUSE of their race...No indication that hopkins hates white people just because they are white....if he hates white people is because of the fcuked up things whites have done and continue to do to blacks here in america and around the world...that's not being racist, though. it's being race-conscious which is a completely different thing.

Second of all, hopkins lived up to his statement that he would never let a white boy beat him. he dropped calzaghe in the first round, hurt calzaghe a couple of times and deserved the win....all calzaghe could do was run around the ring throwing harmless slaps at hopkins arms. it was a bad decision. this is not amateur boxing.

thirdly, hopkins will expose and beat the snot out of kovalev. the eastern european fighters, for all the hype haven't faced anybody yet...ggg is facing his first real test against rubio. hopkins is kovalev's first real test. these fools think hopkins is a regular 50 year old... dude DROPPED shumenov! he can and WILL drop kovalev...and then we'll see what kovalev is really made of.
