The point I was disagreeing with him with is that he said all white people in America are racist yet black people in America are incapable of being racist

What ever group your from in the north if spme one from the other side came out and said all prodestants/Catholics are racist and bigots but our group ate incapable of being racists or bigots , wouldn't you consider them to be daft and that there views are racist?

And by the way a lot of them British para military organisations are filled with skin heads who are racist, they are racists

Yes I think you should leave it you clearly do not know what you are talking about. You live in the south of Ireland so you don't see the British marching outside your front door or kicking your teeth in because you are walking through there area, you don't see people petrol bombing your house or knocking on your door telling you to be out of the area in 24 hours. The link talks about loyalists, not necessarily British people so they could be Northern Irish. You should be clear about that. People on here get quite defensive over Northern ireland not being part of Great Britain and therefore not British.

 

This might be REALLY off-topic but just to give you guys a little background on african american activist movements so you have some knowledge to work with next time the topic comes up: here's a quick rundown:

-Nation of Islam: Preached about the evil the white man had done to black man and told the black man to stand up and fight against white supremacy and oppression....branded a racist organization by whites and malcolm x was killed and farrakhan was discredited as an anti-semite.

- black panther party: Preached black self-reliance and community policing because the "regular" police ignored crime in black neighborhoods and in fact promoted criminal activity in the black community for profit....branded a terrorist organization by whites and all members eventually killed off or imprisoned.

- Al sharpton: a grassroots activist who organized the black community to agitate for justice for the "little people" in the black community who had been victimized by racial violence....branded a racist, but continues to fight for the cause.

I'm telling you what I see with my own eyes. You have wrongly assumed and identified me with being on a certain side. So why would I be bitter? I'm on the outside looking in my friend I'm not part of any group but I don't deny what I'm seeing either.

Not from every group, but I did give you a scenario where blacks from the most remote places, untouched by white cultural hegemony could be racist. You need to stop saying that every group is racist....that's bull****...question **** before you repeat it. if you look at the particular circumstances of the african american community and you're honest with yourself you will find that it's impossible for african americans or blacks in latin american and the caribbean to be racist...

 

Mate your racist in your views and the fact you believe that these views are ok is very troubling

Your right. I was referring to a post that was wrong in a few places so I didn't bother to correct him. That being said the perpetrators of the crimes in the article identify themselves with the union flag. Which is the flag of Great Britain.

honestly, I understand why whites would say something like "all groups are racist"...it's because it lets them off the hook. it validates them and maybe even makes them feel better about being racist.

It's a form of manipulation. They can hold their head up and say "well, everybody else is doing it, so why can't we? I don't have to feel immoral or that my racist views are wrong." it's a lot easier to just spread the stink around and taint everyone else than it is to be the one guy that stinks.
