    Actually that's what those who have heard him interviewed in Russian say - he comes off as both charming and funny with a wry sense of humour.

    Those who know him personally in the US like Duva are also gushy about what a friendly and charming guy he is, but like must non-native speakers of a language he can come across as a bit awkward when the cameras are on him 'cos he doesn't want to f#ck up on camera due to his lack of fluency.

    Furthermore, as anyone who read the translation of his open message to Stevenson will know, he's got a real way with words when it comes to smack talk in his native tongue.

    All Hopkins does is tell everyone how great and special he is all the time. I've never seen another person, let alone a fighter, who is so in love with the sound of their own voice. Every interview consists of him basically saying the same few things over and over again, for hour after hour - Listen up ya'll.. I'm so great. I'm so special. I'm such a victim. Everyone's out to get me. Blacks are superior. Whites and everyone else are inferior to blacks. I'm an OG. References some famous black people. I'm so intelligent.     I'm not saying what he's doing isn't special. But a little humility wouldn't go amiss and he could try toning it down a bit too. We got the message the first time no need to keep on shouting from the rooftops. lol
