Stupid Abel Sanchez had both of these guys but openly favored Golovin and alienated Kovalev so he left and found JDJ. Probably worked out for the best all around.

 

I thought that on the night too, but not on second viewing. That deep breathing thing they do between rounds is just something they do, they were doing it early in the fight.
