I score against fighters I like all the time. I thought Kovalev lost to Ward in their first fight for example.

Seemed very clear to me Kovalev was winning this fight. Yes, Kovalev wasn't doing much beyond throwing jabs, but all Canelo was doing was eating those jabs and swinging at air once or twice every 60 seconds (until the later rounds where Kovalev started tiring).

I like how prior to the fight everyone was like “look at Kovalev so darn relaxed while Alvarez is stiffed out as he shadow boxes”. Now it all changed to “relaxed because he knew he was hopeless”.

Your bias clearly made you oblivious to some of the things Canelo was doing. Kova was clearly landing more jabs, but they were of the pitty-variety, and his connect percentage was abysmal, add to that the fact that he spent most of the fight in retreat mode and it's not hard to understand why anyone with a sense of objectivity would not give those rounds to him. In addition, Canelo was clearly the aggressor landing at a higher percentage, more overall punches and connecting with the more effective punches.

And this fascination with automatically giving rounds to a boxer simply because he may have had the edge in jabs seems ridiculous to me. Everything that takes place in that round has to be evaluated in order to get a proper scoring.

Kovalev is more a fan of eastern europe's favourite cat and mouse duo... worker and parasite

I love how you are a moron that makes baseless generalizations and then laugh at your own dumb statements.

These were my threads before the fight:

    Now STFU asswipe.

Have you considered your own ****ing bias? Because I can't imagine why an "El Cyclon" would favor a Mexican fighter.

Nice generalization, kinda proves my point about you. And don't be so sensitive did you even consider the other points in my reply before you went all butthurt?

Yeah, that must be why I had Ward beating Kovalev too.

My post before that clearly explained how I viewed the fight: Kovalev did little, Canelo even less.

No point in repeating myself as you clearly saw a different fight. Hence, bias.

    Get ****ed.

Probably because the co main event didn't last long so he knew it was going to be a while .

Win, lose or draw Kovalev was getting a huge payday fighting a superstar.....I don't think he cared if he won not enough to try anyway. Look at the trend today with fighters just looking for the highest paying fights without a care of winning

They were both on the couch

I thought it was a spot on summation of the state of boxing in 2019 going into the next decade.
-hypejob fraud and a alcoholic gopnik about to take part in a fixed fight
-being punked by MMA, having to delay their fight an hour
-Kovalev completely passive and smiling, eyes green with the fat paycheck he'll receive
-you'd be fooled to think either men are about to enter a professional title fight, look like they're about to do zumba at planet fitness
-black couch representative of casting couch pornos where whores get ****ed for cash

    It's perfect.
