Pascal took a beating in the first fight. People seem to not realize how bad it was because he landed 3-4 flashy counters on Kovalev that weren't even hurting punches. He took a BEATING.

Then in his "win" vs. Gonzalez he again, took a beating.

Now he's signed up for what is surely, ANOTHER BEATING.

Kathy Duva needs to step it up. Kovalev hasn't had a meaningful fight in a while, which isn't entirely the fault of Duva if people are ducking him but still. Pascal II is bad for both fighters and the fans. If Duva can't bring fighters to Kovalev he needs to jump ship.

With Stevenson in permanent duck mode, there isn't even anything interesting on the horizon for Kovalev.

The first fight was exciting and pascal shook up Kovalev once or more. But that being said there doesn't need to be a rematch

Pascal is one of the very few brave enough to fight the guy. But i agree - no one wants to see a brave warrior keep on taking beatings, esp not from a guy like SK

Shook him up. Nah. He landed 3-4 flashy counters on a VERY aggressive fighter. He didn't even come close to hurting him.

Pascal doesn't even have the one punch power you need to keep it level with a guy like Kovalev. Now that I think about it, I can't think of a SINGLE attribute Pascal has over Kovalev. Everyone says he's "athletic" but why? Because he throws wild shots with poor technique? Pascal isn't even that fast.

The odds on this fight are gonna be 50-1. Don't want to see a likable fighter get brain damage.

Totally agree. This fight is just completely unnecessary violence. Pascal was never on Kovalev's level to begin with even at his best.

Can't imagine what he will look like again after the punishment he's taken. It will get nasty.

I don't mind this fight. The first fight was dramatic and fun, so why not again?. It's definitely not a pointless victory for Kovalev if he wins again. Pascal is a formidable and dangerous opponent.

    Pascal actually traded with kova

  8. And received major brain damage in the process and did not hurt Kova once.

The opponent should at least be formidable to fight back.

Pascal just got his skull crushed in and will again probably even worse than before.

Kov may lose motivation having to fight someone he has already beat once before.

I just want the Beterbiev fight soon.

Was an exciting first fight...why not have a second one? Will be better than Pac-Mayweather II, no?
