no but his punch out-put power and varied attack will, hopkins aint gonna come out of his shell all night i see it being similar to the agnew bout, but hopkins having more success early until he gets ground to dust, tries to foul and stuff like he always does. dirty tactics, but guess what this isnt soft minded jawson and it aint feather fisted calslappy its a man of steel from russia who hits like a truck. hopkins will be a busted man when then is finished. :happy ud kovalev maybe 10th round KO :rofl:rofl:rofl look im laughing. you got no idea do you lol :smooch
Jean pascal may be more dangerous than you think! I wouldn't be surprised if Pascal won this quite easily..remember pascal can swing wildly from his unorthodox Crouched position when even not squared up to his opponent!!! the reason why he gets away with this and maintains his accuracy is that he keeps his head looking at opponent at all times and still managed to land a clobber!
It is a good match up and I would lean towards a Pascal win, but if it happens we will probably never see BHOP unify.
I thought Hopkins was calling out KOvalev and said he would fight him next, and KOvalev said "Bring it on, ese." What happened?
:yep:yepAbout GGG and the translation. nono:nonoAbout this being a duck of BHOP. This isnt KOVALEV trying to get out of a fight with BHOP. This is DUVA trying to secure and an optional opponent for her fighter in the event that BHOP is ALL TALK.atschatschatsch
Pascal is explosive but doesn't always fight that way. He fights that way against counter puncher so that they don't time him. It is how he fought Hopkins, Dawson, Bute, but it is not how he fought Diaconnu (with more jab). Pascal is also fairly fast. Still he has some few flaws in his defence. But he can sure spark Kovalev and knock him down. Pascal is one of the only guy who knocked down B'hop. Pascal can find your chin.
FFS he said the exact opposite and that as expected Hopkins had no real intention of fighting Kovalev he was just using his name to leverage more out of Yvon Michell and GYM for the Stevenson fight which we should expect on SHO later this year.
Actually, BHOP is running out of time. I think all along he always realized he only has time enough to gain 1 more of the four belts before he retires. That being the case, in BHOP's mind, not only was the Stevenson fight the easiest to make in the least amount of time but, the Stevenson fight also 2-3x the financial gain while presenting less risk than with kovalev. So, ideally BHOP would want Stevenson first, and depending how he performed would look at Kovalev IF he could make it happen in a short period of time. My guess is that by the end of the year BHOP will have made a fight with one or the other and even if he succeeds and wins he would retire shortly afterward. Then Andre Ward will announce that he is moving up to LHW.
