It really is a shame people are so negative about this now because of the Pascal vs. Bolonti outcome. That situation wasn't totally Jean's fault (he did foul, but the Argentinian thespian was the most culpable for what a farce that became) and IMO doesn't make him undeserving of a shot at Kovalev. This is a great fight as far as explosive action, it can't be anything else. Besides, with Stevenson ducking (Fonfara II? Really? :roll this is as good an opponent as Kovalev is going to be able to find...and despite not holding a belt Pascal might honestly be the bigger h2h challenge and more creditable scalp than Stevenson would anyway.
I'm pretty sure Pascal is speaking English but I still can't understand him. :!: That accent is thicker than my girl's booty.
Something something...face the best...something something, that's what I'm going to do on March 14th: face the best...I thank HBO for showcasing this fight...the show must go on, baby...something something...and now repeating the whole thing in French.
:huh Pascal looked like sh!t against a damaged and half-shot Bute. He gassed pretty badly and Bute wasn't even bringing down any kind of heat for that to have happened. This will be complete and utter domination. I would be shocked if Kovalev didn't get him out of there within 5 rounds.
Roy Jones Jr. is soaking up the plaudits as the event host goes over the top calling him among the very best p4p of all time, super great, neat-o, fantastic, etc. - before taking the mic to give his thoughts as Pascal's coach. Jones says he is actually friendly with both Kovalev and Pascal but trains the latter so he's gotta do what he gotta do. He loves seeing the best fight the best. (cue all kinds of comments from the peanut gallery as Jones haters come out in force to call him out for perceived hypocrisy there..:yep)
I agree Kovalev will probably destroy him but none of what I said is untrue. It will be explosive while it lasts and Pascal is the best available. You've said nothing to refute either statement.
