Kovalev responds to Beterbiev's trash talk

I'm a fan of both but that is not the best fight, or anywhere near it. GGG hasn't fought at 168 and Ward is essentially a retired fighter. I don't know what Ward is doing, he was my p4p number one before he vanished.

Beterbiev won't be able to land those short hooks as easy as he does on everyone else. You don't simply walk through kovalev. I've seen a few fights of beterbiev in the amateurs aswell, a little bit easy to read...

 

Everyone knew what Tyson would do and they still got KO'd all the same. Knowing what the opponent will do means nothing on it's own.

 

He looks like it, you need more your to game then that. I even said beterbiev would destroy stevenson easily than kova, but kova vs artur very close, kova is well aware of beterbiev's strength, I think beterbiev will be suprised at kova's improvements.

 

Beterbiev is a real Talent. But we habe no idea about bis stamina. He drains himself really Bad to make light heavy. Kovalev hat bot great experience against very good fighters and experience is often the deciding factor

 

Been looking forward to this potential fight for a long time. I think that KOvalev is significantly better now than he was when he and Beterbiev met as amateurs. Plus, Kovalev works so well with Jackson as his main trainer.

I have to favor Sergey Kovalev now; he has really come into his own. However, Artur Beterbiev is still the biggest threat to Kovalev's LHW supremacy (imo) -- especially after the former has had more fights. Time will tell, but it seems clear that two are eager to settle things in a professional ring. Brace yourselves, because this will be one explosive collision. :bbb

 

Beterbiev's still green and his only claim to fame is a gift decission over Kovalev

i'd pick Kova to crush him if the fight takes place tomorrow. however, Father time's not on crusher's side on this one

 

31 isnt old, I expect kova to finish in a few years yet. How old is beterbiev 30?

 

I don't think Beterbiev has done enough to earn a shot at Kovalev yet. Right now Krusher has bigger paydays at his disposal.

I'd like to see him first fight Chilemba who is clearly keen on the fight. Failing that he could fight Eleider Alvarez or Thomas Oosthuizen. It would be interesting to see what happens if he is taken a little deeper into a fight with a skillful enough opponent.

 

Nicca has like 3 fights. He needs to earn his title shot such as Tyson Fury and Billy Joe Saunders have

 

saunders has done it the right way and when his title fight comes he will be ready to be champion.

 

Beterbiev needs at least a few more fights to get ready for Kovalev.
