What I'm saying is that Kovalev doesn't need to **** on his opponents after beating them. A stark contrast to someone like Ward who his opponents respect even after they lose. I'm not saying they need to be gentleman, I understand Kovalev is being honest, and Kovlaev isn't the only fighter who does this, but after the fight no need to completely **** on them, especially if it's a much lesser opponent.

Kovalev will one day know how it feels likes to lose whether be against Stevenson, Ward, or some other opponent and I hope they **** on him.

Plenty of other trash talkers back it up yet get ridiculed by some very same posters in here praising Kov. We all like and dislike certain fighters and that is the only reason for it being "cool and funny" instead of "unwarranted and trashy," and vice versa.

 

The fact that you support Broner and his antics says it all. :nod

 

The difference with Kovalev's trashtalk (apart from the racist stuff) is that he backs it up... And it's not some corny David Haye ****, he's just a mean guy kinda like Mike Tyson and fans love that.

 

Circumstance and style mean a lot though. At 3min mark this gets really great, some of the guys like Broner and whatnot might talk trash but just arent on this level.

I've never been a Broner fan. I've wanted him to lose in every fight he has been in since showing up on television. That has always been clear to anyone trying to decide if I was a fan or not except for you.

Just because I casually point out every time you mention him doesn't mean I like him. It means that you're obsessed with him, love or hate. Obsessed. You name drop him so much that I can only assume he is your hero alongside Brook, Calzaghe, and Mayweather, no?

Stevenson is nice guy now. Kovalev looks like he needs to be taught a lesson in life, and Stevenson is just the guy to teach it. One left to that chin and boom Kovalev is out cold! Kovalev would be humble from that point on
