It's funny that you call my post stupid only to say "Fighters move up when they can't make a certain weight anymore and grow out of it!". Well guess what Einstein, they do the same by moving down if their bodies prefer that too. A starved fighter wouldn't do what Ward did in his division nor perform the way he does. Moving up purely for money is a stupid, careless and desperate choice. It's only best to move up when the body signals it's time to do so and is the healthier decision.

Yes this fight will happen it has to but i think the fight needs to build up for a while...Kovalev needs to dominate for longer and soon people are going to be dying to see this fight

admirable for him to call out ward, but pointless....ward might as well be a retired fighter at this point... he doesnt really bring much to the table at this point, take care of stevenson next

178 is lightheavy in the ams.

You dont think Ward should fight the top LHW in his first fight at the weight, but seem to think Golovkin should fight the top SMW in his first fight at the weight.
    Seems a bit double standards.

Are you going to honour your bet if the Wlad fight happens this weekend and Wlad wins?
If you are honourable, I will see you post as an alt I expect

How is it a double standard? GGG wanted to fight Jr at 168.

Who does Ward want to fight at 175 ?

GGG fight Jr but not Ward, Why?

Ward isn't even fighting at 168 , so why should be be looking to fight Krusher at LW?

Thats the limit. You have to come in under that. There's no smw division in the ams.

Can you show me a link of where Golovkin was agreeing to face Jnr at 168lbs?
But even if that is correct, you are masking over what I said as Jnr isnt the top SMW.
So it is double standards on your part.
    Read what I wrote -

Jnr is not the top SMW.
You are saying Ward shouldnt fight the top man in the division above, in his first fight at the above weight, but Golovkin should because he was supposedly agreeing to face a former MW at SMW.
    Double Standards Dino :lol::patsch

Anyway are you going to honour your bet if it happens?

I hope Ward moves up and fights Kovalev if GGG won't fight him or a Froch rematch can't be made. No one else really worth fighting at 168.

Up until say the last 15 years and in times when boxing was relevant...what division in boxing was the king? HW. That is a fact. You sound really stupid and I'm not the only one who pointed it out. Why did Haye and Holyfield go to HW? Because HW for most of boxing history has been regarded as THE division. There aren't many career light heavies that are household names.

If Ward comes back and right away gets back into the ring with Kovalev .

Ward is going to get stomped .

I want him to take a few fights at 175 before going to war with Kovalev .

I want to see how he reacts to a punch from a full fledged LHW .

He definitely has the skills to beat Kovalev . No question .
