If hes going to have a know it all attitude and dont listen and put in the work ,
why hire a trainer ? What trainer is gonna want to train a fighter with a fuked up attitude like that.

 

This. Kovalev is an idiot. No fighter can train himself. A good trainer can catch flaws and help the fighter make adjustments if the fighter listens. Kovalev tried doing his own thing in the second Ward fight and wasn't even competitive after the first couple of rounds. If Shabranskyy paces himself and goes to the body early he'll end Kovalev.

 

On a serious note. After this he should suck it up and return to Sanchez.... Do whatever he tells him. Sanchez is the best trainer for him bar none.

 

He should go w/ Robert Garcia.

 

Boxing needs all the good fighters it can get. Kovalev is still world class he just needs a shrink it seems

You guys are all a bunch of marks, Seroga is trolling you! He will have a trainer and at the very least he will have them in tow replete with chief second and cutman when he fight Shabransky. Although i stand by my earlier comment; Saying it would be awesome if didn't and even worked his own corner completely alone just him.

Boxing today is more about personalities and getting noticed for being eccentric. A stunt like that would get people taking about him again and the money would start rolling in.
