Kovalev To Stevenson: ill shut your dirty mouth

Last week, WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson (23-1, 20KOs) lashed out at his WBO counterpart Sergey Kovalev (23-0-1, 21KOs), who questioned whether or not Stevenson had the heart to fight him.

"First of all, lets make it clear! No one is scare of your sorry ass!! I fight for a living and in order to live in this world we need money! So I fight for money! If the money is right I will be more then glad to come give you a good ass whooping in the ring. Beside having power you have nothing special! Your defense is terrible and it wont be to hard to find your big ugly head with that long ass chin! They can hype your name in the boxing world as much as they want to but at the end of the day is how much you are getting paid that matter! While I will fight for millions you will keep fighting for thousand and keep begging me to fight you so your broke ass can make some money! Skill pay the bills! The more skill you have the more you get pay. So as I can see you don't have to much of it because your ass is still broke," Stevenson blasted out.

Kovalev has now responded in kind.

"You opened your dirty mouth and had a lot to say about me. I ask you to compete in the ring against me. Unlike you, I won my belt in the champion's home country, where everything was against me. And I do not go around and yell at every opportunity, that I'm the WBO world champion and so on. You picked up the WBC belt after Chad Dawson was stopped in his fight with Andre Ward. No offense, but that wasn't the same Chad Dawson," Kovalev said.

"And then you took possession of the belt, went around and beat your chest, shouting that you are the champion. You are an impostor! I'm ready to go against you for any amount of money. I'll fight with anyone who agrees to go against me. And I do not go around and cry that I'm not getting paid enough. Last year you were recognized as the best boxer, so I want to challenge that decision and meet with you in the ring. You are going to be sleeping on the floor of the ring in front of all of your fans at home. I am ready to come to your country and punish your dirty mouth. You said I was ugly. But I'm not a girl where I need to be beautiful. I am a man."
