    Wow - big Dan at espn says that HBO have approved and want this fight. Lots of Aussies fighting the big guns recently but the guns don't get any bigger than kovelev. Blake is cagey though and if anyone can avoid taking punches and steal rounds it's him. Thoughts?

    I like Blake but Kovelev is a monster. Good on Blake for stepping up he wont die wondering.

    That is big news if true, wish he had just a bit more big fight experience especially going in against Kovalev. Too good an opportunity to turn down I guess, all the best

    Good on Blake taking on a monster puncher like Kovalev. I read it was $$$ and budget based decision by HBO and Blake will only get $110,000 still if he causes the upset(highly unlikely IMO). He will be laughing if this fight happens.
