Because he's never made it before? why should we expect him to be able to.

In B-Hops words 'he was like a Cruiserweight".

Sergey KRUSHER Kovalev is a big lhw. not a supermiddle weight.

I really like Carl and he would last quite awhile maybe score a KD or 2 but Kovalev would eventually stop him at 175, Kovalev can't make 168..

You may be right. He's a big 175 pounder.

At 175lbs. Sergey KRUSHER Kovalev stops the lionheart Carl The Cobra Froch, he was heavily rocked by Saint George Groves' punches, he'd be in complete survival mode vs KRUSHER and he hasnt got the steadiest defences.

LOL. Must be a Froch fan who started this thread. Cause Froch's ONLY chance would be if Kov was dead drained at 168.

This fight would have to happen at 175. Kov can't make 168, and Froch has always been a very big super middle.

Kov would destroy Froch within 5-6.

Kovalev stops Froch. I don't see this being much of a fight, really. I just don't think Froch has the fire power to stay in there with Kovalev. The fight could go 5 or 6 rounds but that is only because Froch is a tough SOB and could take quite a beating. They would have to fight at 175, though. There is no way Kovalev makes 168.

Froch makes 168 easily, and not very big at the weight. Yes, he could make 175lb, but he's struggle to be effective,...in the same way Kovalev would be if he we to drop 7lb.

Kovalev looked like a CW against Hopkins. He's not making 168. And if he does, he might be awfully drained.

If George Groves could badly hurt Froch in just the first round, then Kovalev probably stops him.
