Kovalev is back in action with this fight this Saturday. Does Agnew have any chance?

Nope, its a question of how many rounds he lasts. I hope he is getting paid well for the KO he is about to suffer.

Interesting fight. I haven't seen Agnew fight, but he seems very confident and ready for the step up.
    I'll be watching.

I've seen nothing of Agnew; anybody got a quick scouting report on him?

    Not much.

I don't know the odds on this fight, but I won't be surprised if it's somewhere between 1/15 to 1/20.
Agnew doesn't have much punchingpower at the higher levels, and going by the Mack fight (his best opponent as of yet!!!) he isn't really a boxing wizard.

Another TKO within 4 for Kovalev is probably a safe bet.

Agnew and Fonfara are appetizers to the main course, Kovalev-Stevenson, which should be served in the Fall. We be starvin til then.

No because once I was walking to the shops and I remember seeing Kovalev and then this Kovalev took a really big run up and punched a wall and I remember the wall was gone after that. True story.

I don't know why Kovalev would take this cannon fodder on possibly before the biggest fight of his life.

If he was looking for a tune up, or a stay busy fight, maybe he should fight someone who will give his some decent work,
and put some much needed rounds under his belt. Kovalev's stamina in the big leagues is still not known to me, and he's
never fought past the eighth. Maybe somebody durable like Pascal coming off a big win who will go rounds with Kovalev
before getting knocked spark out in the latter half of the fight would be an appropriate match up. Especially at this stage of the fight game.

I doubt a guy that took Yusaf Mack the distance to going to do much in terms of preparing Kovalev for a daunting assignment
    in Stevenson.

How about a fight against Chilemba or Braehmer? I read an interview with Stevenson where he said that Kovalev has never faced a hard hitting lefty, so Braehmer would be a good test.

Not that it matters, because there's no way a fight with Stevenson would go past the eighth, anyway.

A guy that loses to Tony Bellew is cannon fodder for a man a Kovalev's stature.

I think some one like Braehmer is more suited to the fight I was referring to.

Pascal would never take a Kovalev fight. He discredits Kovalev in the local media even more so than Stevenson does.
