I think a rematch favours the boxer more so then the puncher. However I think Kova will fight with more urgency this time since he will not trust the judges a second time. Very intresting rematch, both fighters feel they won and are going to give it their all.

I would also favor the pure boxer in the rematch.

Kova needs to either improve his conditioning, or avoid getting tagged to the body so much. He lost the snap on his punches after round 6.

 

Kov is already too emotional. Ward has this.

 

Kovalev proved he was the better 'boxer'. He'll be able to box his ears off again and not make the same mistake of not going for the finish.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ward wins by disqualification. He will continue to be allowed to break the rules, headbutts, elbows, clinching, tackling, hitting on the break etc. Kovalev may do something and the ref will pin him for it and Ward will win.

Kovalev has everything against him. He knows that the ref and judges will be against him while he is fighting a dirty fighter in his home country. I hope that Kovalev can finish Ward but I am sure SOH will be doing everything to turn this into a wrestling and elbow match.

Wlad let a defenseless, vulnerable opponent get his 2nd wind after he coasted for 3 rounds. Wlad would have lost the decision had it gone 12. What the hell are they thinking????. GGG is the exception he taunts with his jaw and can decision as well.
