Kovalev vs Beterbiev

It's a great division we must give Alvarez his props too.. Let's hope they all DON'T spend the next four years ducking each other. My own feeling is Bivol is the best but he has some hellacious competition to try & prove it against..

 

Hopefully Bivol v Alvarez/Gvozdyk v Chickenson next and Beterbiev gets some name into the ring.

Although he'll have to be pin point early on and not get caught lapsing in concentration like he did against Karpancy

I think he'll have figured Stevenson out by round 5 and stop him in 8, if he gets his jab and combinations going earlier he stops him nice and early.

 

Play smart early, take the older guy into rough waters later.. Should be another changing of the guard fight, I hope he stops him, I don't want no cooked scorecard.

kovalevs punch resistance is gone, you could tell from the first round when both fighters landed jabs. kovalevs head would snap back pretty hard. rios, guerrero, ortiz, hatton, khan, margarito,chocolatito, etc. all of those fighters suffered the same problem later in their careers. i think ggg is heading down that same road.

 

Beterbiev would hurt Kovalev badly.
