Chilemba is slippery and has enough power to keep Kovalev honest, but only til he's caught. Kovalev KO4.:think
Would be a decent stay busy fight for the Krushed no? Beterbiev is also surely an option. I hope they don't stick him in against the ghost of Chad Dawson just for name value. Hard to imagine Bute even considering a fight. Stevenson will then hide behind his lineal status whilst avoid Kovalev.
What dumb thread i mean seriously you asking who would win in this obvious mismatch in kovalev favor? lol
All things considered I wouldn't mind seeing this fight... Chilemba is slick enough to give Kovalev fits for a few rounds, and he's coming off of a shut out schooling of an undefeated top prospect that most expected him to lose to... Stevenson is of course still running with his tail between his legs, Beterbiev is still climbing the ranks/getting more experience, Braehmer doesn't appear to be interesting in fighting him either.. There are definitely fights I would rather see happen at LHW, but this isn't exactly a bad one.
Chilemba is coming off an easy win but it was very boring which he was scared to take a risk and go for the kill. Kovalev would easily destroy him. Chilemba aint ready to face the best fighter at light heavyweight division.
Chilemba beat a promising prospect, not a world champion or intelligent puncher like Kov. Still, Chilemba displayed alot of movement and smart boxing. He might even go the distance with Kov. Chilemba weathered Lupinchik's early assault and fought patiently under his terms.
Chilemba got put on his ass by Vlasov, Kovalev hits waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay harder than Vlasov.
