Maybe it's just me, but this is the fight that's got me more excited than any other this year. I'm a big GGG fan, but something's lost when you know the result is a certainty. Kovalev vs Cleverly is a fight where it could genuinely go either way, it could make or break either fighters career. You can look at Wlad vs Sasha, but it's basically understood that, save for the very plausible 'robbery' scenario it is Wlads fight. Kovalev vs Cleverly is the big fight in the higher weight divisions, it is so rare now to get a genuine 50/50 matchup at this level. Goddamn.
