I've been thinking about this match up and its hard for me to picture. How would a Prime Lightheavyweight Roy Jones Jr do against todays Krusher Kovalev. Roy Jones in his prime at light heavyweight looked damn near unstoppable but I can see how a fighter like Kovalev may be trouble for him. Kovalev has great boxing skills and one of the better jabs in the light heavyweight division. A good jab to me in crucial to anyone who wants to have a chance with a guy like Jones. Not to mention Kovalev is best with his straight punches and has power which I think would be the key if he has to beat Jones Jr. Can't say I'd bet on Kovalev if this fight was actually happening but I'd give him a good shot and expect it to be one of Jones Jr's toughest defenses. Anyone agree or have different point of views?
