OK Lovaluubes, I've been gone for a few weeks now, you just wore me down with your constant bitching and whining after the Kovalev-Ward fight (which, by the way, I scored for Kovey 115-112, but the rounds were close and it was not a robbery.)

Anyway I'm back, and I came away from the ordeal agreeing with Uncle Raj in his assessment of you (Ya'll maaaah-fuggas don't know **** bout' Baaaahxzin!)

So here's your chance to tout your man, and prove your knowledge at the same time. I'm looking for INTELLIGENT discourse here (you did notice the caps here?) about why your man would defeat, whom I consider, the greatest LHWT of all time.

Now Spinks whole career was tainted by the Tyson debacle, but what he was was a long armed, hard-punching, street fighter from the 15-round era. First LHWT ever to win the hvyt title.

If I had to predict an outcome, it would be Spinks, KO i about 9. Let me tell you right now, there is ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE Spinks would let a 50-y/o middleweight go the distance with him. There is a video resource attached below, if you are under 40 (and I know a few of you don't have your wisdom teeth yet) please watch before you comment

    Aaaah-eit then:

Until we see more of kovalev I would have to give it to Spinks.

that says it all really, we have to look at finished careers.

Hypothetical matchup conversations are never intelligent, too much opinion for anybody to even talk in absolutes. What makes you think Hopkins wouldnt stink up the place and run around surviving for 12 rounds? Also Hopkins grew in to his lightheavy weight frame , he was not a middleweight anymore.

Spinks would be a problem for both Kovalev and Ward.

I'd even take Moorer against Kovalev.

Kovalev beat the crap out of cheater SOB Ward, who had his judges, referee, boxing commission once again to save him. SOB does not want a rematch, but he signed the contract, so he will have to give up Kovalev's titles, which he never won in the first place. SOB will get knocked out in the rematch..........

Kovalev would have knocked Michael Spinks out because Spinks would have fought him instead of holding, grabbing Kovalev's leg, etc., I liked both Leon and Michalev Spinks, they were good to me, got to spar with them in St. Louis years ago...........

Bernard Hopkins has had 12 fights as a LHWGT; ZERO knockouts. I can remember him even knocking an opponent DOWN. He never really grew into the weight class, and went down after going up to fight Wright and PAvlik. Yes, he would have tried to spoil, but Spinks was to relentless. Watch the video above.

Well hey Bro, you should take some youth potion, spar Kovey, and get back to us.

But are you really implying that Kovalev would have stopped Michael Spinks, who went the distance with Larry Holmes, twice, BUT NOT CHILEMBA?

He is a natural lightheavy weight,he did spend most of his career below his natural weight class, but he is ending his career in his natural weight limit. He doesnt have heavy hands, so what? You do not need to have Beterbiev like power to be a lightheavy weight, he is like Andre Ward. Also these hypothetical matchups are pointless, unless they get in a ring we do not know.

I respect Killer and believe he's a great fighter, but I believe Michael is a notch above and does just about everything better than Sergey. And he has all of the physical advantages as well. I simply do not see Sergei winning. Of course I am biased as Michael is one of my all time favorites. But what I've seen from both, Spinks wins it.
