Ward asked his travel agent where the US embassy in Las Vegas is. He has never been to South America.
Here's how I see the fight going down: Kovalev will look to land his stiff jab to the body and head. Ward will be elusive using footwork and upper body movement I see Kovalev missing alot and being made to pay by eating left hands from Ward. Kovalev will hurt Ward in this fight. Question is can he stop Andre?
Wth, I wasn't expecting just 21% to pick Ward. I think this is Ward's fight. I'm going to ****yse it properly closer to time.
Oh hell yea. The best prime fighter match up in years, **** is going down. This fight is going to be so good. A lot of people are underestimating Kovalevs ring iq,while the other side is underestimating Wards grit and toughness. This fight will see a lot of phases and tides turning. I don't see one guy just imposing his will and overcoming the other guy. They will both think and have to change strategies to get the upper hand. Can't wait
Love this fight. I think both guys beat everyone else from 168-175. It's hard to bet against Ward because he always manages to take away his opponents biggest strength, has great ring awareness and is very physically strong. Kovalev showed me something against Hopkins. Even though Hop was 147 years-old, he was still extremely capable and smart. Seeing Kovalev out-box him by being patient and not getting preoccupied with the ko was impressive. I'm not sure who I'm picking yet. It's probably 55/45 either way. I'll wait to see who Ward fights beforehand and how he looks.
I favor Kovalev, I figure it will be close and toughly contested and then Kovalev lands something and its over I thought Ward got hit too much vs Barrera and looks a little slower, unless he has a tune up and looks sharper I think Kovalev gets him. Kovalev doesnt have to hit you much or very clean to hurt guys. I dont think Ward stays safe for a full 12 rounds
