Kovalev vs Yarde Predictions

Doesn’t mean jack! I’m looking forward to some of you deluded lot getting there mouths shut when Yarde gets beat or pulls an injury

If Yarde wins, you don’t have to leave the forum that’s ridiculous...just admit that you were wrong, give him his props and move onto the next debate.

 

I have really warmed to Tunde after that Tris Dixon pod.....

I wish i had 10 % of his positive attitude .....Most of us could use it....especially the neggy Normans on here

 

Surely Kovalev will win but he also has one of the worst chins in the sport so I guess that gives Yarde a glimmer

 

You can’t say Kovalev has one of the worst chins in the sport. You can only say that about people who have had their glass shattered in the ring put flat on their back or out for the count as a result of a head punch. Even in the first Alvarez fight he wasn’t knocked out as a result of a glass chin, Alvarez just landed great shots and it took a succession of KDs to stop the fight.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe the only other time Kovalev has been KD is in the Ward II fight and against Blake Caparello. Caparello I believe was a body shot and against Ward it was a mix of head shots and body shots.

I’m just trying to shut down all these claims about Kovalev before the fight because if Yarde does win I don’t want this rhetoric creeping in to the post fight analysis.

We already know that Kovalev has durability issues, especially to the body, but “glass chin” is a new one and I’ve never seen that being used by anyone here even by trolls.

 

Its not his chin its his glass guts......If Yarde wings in that left to the liver its game over

I still think Yarde is live in this fight. Intriguing match up.

I’m gobsmacked at the odds Kovalev 8/13!! I seriously would of had a guess of around 1/5 maybe even 1/6!
