Wow what a close fight this was! Closer then most imagined I think Yarde's stock definitely rises after this one. His stamina is a MAJOR issue and despite his lack of fights and experience, POTENTIAL is to the moon with the kid. Consider me a fan. As soon as I saw Yarde coming out in his entrance clowning and dancing, I knew it was a wrap. It's a sign of lack of experience for sure. Sky's the limit for Yarde though and who knows where his career will go but one thing's for sure, I'll be following closely. My dear boxing friends out there, I THINK Kovalev is pretty much done. At least at world level. Hit that body baby and hit that body. Kovalev is still very skilled, intelligent, and a dangerous fighter but he won't last long as champion in the division if he fights the top dawgs. Still, Kovalev was impressive without a doubt and you can't take away anything from a tough fought battle. Guy is just a natural fighter and survivor. That's all he knows.
