I like your confidence mate and it’s good to get behind somebody you clearly support, but Yarde hasn’t even proved himself at British level. I just think the jump will be too much, kovalev isn’t what he was but is still a class operator when his focus is all there like the Álvarez rematch.

Easy night for Kova. After ending it in just a few rounds, he'll be ready for Canelo by the year's end.

You know Yarde is in for a right slap and is hugely overmatched when the majority of us Brits wont even overhype and blow smoke up his ass :nonono

It’s hard to overhype somebody who hasn’t even proved himself at British level yet. Look how good fighters like Ritson, Gill and Cheeseman for example looked at domestic level before failing badly when stepping up to Euro/international level. The jump is huge.

I know mate, i was being tongue in cheek. Yarde is a throwback to the old Warren days of doing exactly what you said. Fight can after can after can, then throw the fighter in with some world class operator in his first fight overseas and receive a complete beatdown.

Weve seen enough of Yarde over here to know he has power, but minimal head movement, zero defence and we really dont know anything about his chin or what happens when he gets taken into the trenches. He may suprise us all. But i think we all know how the script pans out in the end.

Hes either been thrown into the deep end by Fwank, or him and his team are super deluded/confident. Would have made more sense to go in with somebody a bit less of a puncher when going up a few levels in class.
