    AB has a mandatory coming up I think as he is a dual belt holder otherwise he will be stripped.

    Besides if he fights the Chinese guy it is easy money for him in February. Then he can go onto other unification fights.

    No but hes not the same as he was, massive difference between Yarde and Beterbiev. Beterbiev brutalises this kov in 8 imo, i'd say sooner !

    Realistically, Gvozdyk does better than this kov, his tanks better, his fresher, better chin, maybe even more skilled than Kov, I don't think hes better than prime Kov, but he has the skills

    Seriously you think Yarde has more firepower than Beterbiev?I mean even he did(and he doesn’t)he doesn’t possess the skill of Beterbiev to make it count imo.

    When has fighting Beterbiev ever been considered as cashing out lol?Hes always been known as too much risk for little reward.

    I think Team Canelo never takes a fight that they don't think they will win. Kovalev is old, he's past prime and he's coming off a hard fight. Canelo is absolutely prime and has that Vegas insurance.

    That said: it IS a big risk Canelo is taking, because if Kovalev can get it together for one more night and bring the Krusher back, Canelo is going to get hammered through the ropes.

    It's an excellent fight and I think it will be a classic.
