    If they competed in the LHW division of that time (and perhaps HW) what would you expect from them? Greatness? Goodness? Not so greatness? OKness?

    Ward fights series with Jimmy Bivims and Lloyd Marshall, and doesn't get a title shot.

    Only Charles and Moore could match Kov`s power, none of the light heavies in the 40`s ever had to face a jab like Kov`s. Ward is right up there with Moore and Charles, but I feel he would have hasd a better chance v Moore, Conn also may have beaten Ward but Kov would be too relentless for his and his active guard would really bother Conn too. Stevenson wasn`t at this level but would have a punchers chance v everyone except Charles who would box his ears off.
