Regardless of what Weeks called, was the last punch in Kovalev v Ward 2 a low blow?

Yea I thought it went low. Not saying it was the decider cuz Ward was coming on and we all know Kovalev fades goin into later rounds. But to give an opinion on the punch, yea south of the border

The video shows it clearly low. Thought this was already well known.

Weeks was jumping in to stop the fight before the punch was thrown because Kov bent over in resignation. The punch was irrelevant to the outcome and kin to getting hit on the back of the head because you ducked your head down, whether low or not.

yes it was low, yes he had hit him low before that, yes weeks knew kovalev was hurt by a legit blow just prior to that, yes i understand why he waved it off.

    this isn't true

There's several videos which show Weeks was NOT about to stop it before the low blow.

This video proves what a dirty fighter Ward & POS Ward is
NEVER let me hear that that debacle was a KO. The punches were landing on the HUBLOT logo. Both Ward & Weekes should have been severely reprimanded that was BLATANT !!!

Not only was the final punch low, the 2 punches before it were also low.

There is no man in the world who can defend against 3 nut shots.

Ward can be dirty, but ultimately, that fell on Cortez dropping the ball IMO.

Not interested in the BS video you posted, but I rewatched the stoppage in replays and real time. Weeks would've had to get on all fours and look up to know if the last shot was beltine or low. It was academic by then. "Protect yourself at all times" is as basic as it gets and Kovalev sure as hell didn't protect himself.
