no way, the outcry was so severe AW will have to very clearly win a round for the judges to give it to him. kovalev will get every benefit of close, either or rounds. ill put my S5 againt a passat that ward will not win more than a single round on all cards prior to the tko. ward is losing via 3rd,4th or 5th round tko. take this **** to the bank. this is exactly how this will play out
he did not adjust. kovalev had nothing in the tank for 60% of the fight and when dead still fought on even terms. ward could had been dead too. the beating he took first HALF maybe took it out of him also
again ? I strongly believe kovalev will have too much for ward. when they were both fresh (kovalev wasn't ever fresh) kovalev dominated him exactly how I always believed. the way kovalev fell completely flat on his face and let ward see the final bell had me remove him as ever being able to be a true elite fighter. I was shocked too. kovalev comes out and proves it's a mismatch, I'll believe he's a top elite fighter, like I thought he could be
If its close, and I think it will be they ( BOXING POWER BROKERS ) will give it to Kovalev, who was robbed in the first fight to set up the 3rd and final match. $$$ So I like Kovalev via decision, with or without fair judges.
I like both boxers yet I want Krusher to win!! Ward by UD is my final call and this will be a wide UD.....8 rounds Ward/ 4 rounds Krusher and no KDs this time.....I think Krusher wins like rounds 2,3, 5 and the final round.
Ward by wide UD. Kovalev visibly pissed off and looking for a way to quit as his relationship with John David Jackson completely falls apart as the fight wears on. Ward continues on his path to supreme greatness while Kovalev sweats the alcohol abuse out of his balding head.
There are a number of factors that come into play on this fight. There is a bias toward Ward, as the American. But, first and foremost, boxing is about money. That being said, most neutral pundits felt Kovalev won the first fight, narrowly, but still won. Despite the American bias built in, money always wants a rubber match, a trilogy. This is a tough one to bet on but the money would tell you Kovalev wins a tight decision this time, setting up a third and final payday for all involved. So, Kovalev, in either a close unanimous decision or a split decision.
Make no mistake, Kovalev has the power to knock Ward out but I think that Ward has the psychological advantage. Kovalev has spent a great deal of time and energy trying to scare and intimidate Ward. That right there suggests to me that he is the one with a healthy dose of fear. Fear can be good if you control it but Kov has never felt that before and I don't think that he can handle it. As for Ward, he channels all his anger through his brain and that enhances his performance. Like I said, Kov can knock him out but if he don't, he will lose again and by a larger margin.
