I'm not sold just yet that Beterbiev doesn't have a little Chakhiev in him. Chak looks like a monster until he faces someone he can't blast out, where his flaws are revealed. I need to see whether Beterbiev can adapt and box, or if he's just a "hulk smash!" type when the opponent has a chin and a plan B.

I can't see it happening. I like Andy Lee a lot and think he still has more to offer at 160, even if he never regains a championship.

Yeah, I agree. He might prove better than I'm giving him credit for, but I would need to see some evidence of this.

No question I'm sold on his power. But there are a lot of things I didn't care for in the few fights of his I've seen.

Yes it was prepared for. HBO didn't want to give Adonis any coverage. He is the one who turned his back to HBO and decided to fight only on Showtime. But now he wants a few minutes on the camera. But they didn't give it to him. And then Lampley and company dismissed Adonis as a phoney. lol

It's a long, long list of fighters who fall in love with their strength and power to the detriment of their overall game. Hopefully Beterbiev isn't the next in that line, but I'm not sold he isn't yet.

I'd like to see him go against someone like Chilemba in the near future- someone tough, well schooled, and seasoned. I'd also like to see him more active- I don't think twice a year is getting enough camps and development in for where he's at.

Who is Kovalev's next opponent before Ward? I am interested in that. I know it won't be a world beater with Ward on horizon but any ideas?
    Maybe Gonzalez? Monaghan?

I wouldn't mind it. And he has an east coast following and national tv exposure with his commericals.
Gonzalez would be fun I felt he best Pascal. And his last fight although a loss was still ok. For an in between bout I think it's a decent match.

Yeah Yunieski would be solid, but he was out on his feet for the last seconds of the Slava match and Pascal had him loopy a few times, I doubt he lasts to long with Kovalev.

Maybe it'll be Barrera after he beats Ward.:yep

Could somebody embed this video for me. Take a look at what Ward does at 4:25-4:50 in the video. He grabbed Ashworth and wouldn't let go even when the ref told him to. Was Andre hurt? 4:25-4:55 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bI4i1sfkvBs#t=276
