What do you think? It seems so obvious. Another light-heavyweight fight on the televised under card of the biggest light-heavyweight fight of the decade. Do you think that they're promoting this so the winners will face each other right after? The winner of Kovalev-Ward wouldn't exactly be facing a killer like Beterbiev or Stevenson so it seems like a perfect first title defense for the winner after the biggest fight of their careers. Kind of like how Eddie Hearn is promoting the Joshua-Parker fight by putting Parker on the under card of Joshua's next fight. Do you agree?

Nah, it wouldn't make much sense for Chilemba to rematch Kovalev, since he lost pretty decisively the first time, its basically a showcase match for Gvozdyk, maybe eventually leading to a match for him with Kovalev or Ward, Chilemba won't get a damn thing if he wins though.

Could Gvozdyk pull it off? He's a hell of a talent, but that's a heck of an experience gap he's up against, against P4P talent to boot. I do think he's championship material...the Chilemba fight will tell us alot about where he's at now.

first of all I love your avatar, 'Dead Again' is a masterpiece, secondly I don't care who Ward and Kovolev fight next as long as they fight each other

    F that small fry fight!

The winner of the event should fave SUPERMAN Adonis Stevenson for LHW unification.
The unification fight will be as big or bigger than the Ward-Kovalev elimination bout.

Elimination bout? Dude if anything it should be Stevenson fighting in an elimination to determine who he gets to face for 3 titles. Stevenson only has the WBC and lineal.

But I agree. I would much rather see the winner face Stevenson straight after but I don't think that's very realistic. Stevenson has his mandatory an I doubt the promoters would put the winner straight in with Stevenson after giving up Kovalev-Ward.

Whoever wins Kovalev vs Ward isn't taking a monster like Gvozdyk right after any more than they are facing Beterbiev right after. Gvozdyk has scary power, good technique, and looks like he belongs at Cruiser or Heavyweight.

Yep. Kovalev at one point said that he thought Gvozdyk was the only LHW who could challenge him. Granted, Kovalev doesn't like Beterbiev or Stevenson and he also speaks highly of Ward's skill, but it's still high praise.

Not happening, both under Klimas and good friends, Kov even drove to some of Gvozdyk's fights that were deep on Top Rank's undercard.
Klimas will steer Gvozdyk towards WBC or towards other titles when Kov moves up to CW.

I doubt Kovalev will move after Ward beats him. He'll want revenge!

Um, he won't even those belts after Nov 19, so no.

    They will be Ward's belts.
